Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer. No binding. Just About Fine. [Hollywood]: MGM, [1937]. Vintage original 10 x 8" (25 x 20 cm.) black-and-white print still photo, slight creasing at extreme blank corners, just about fine. Jacques Tourneur on left and Peter Smith on right face a supposed case of radium for the Oscar-nominated short film ROMANCE OF RADIUM. Tourneur had previously directed a few features in France in the early 1930s but he did not get to direct a feature in the US until two years after this film. Tourneur, of course, went on to direct such classics as THE CAT PEOPLE and OUT OF THE PAST. Peter Smith produced and narrated a series of over 200 kuttke shorts for MGM.
