Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer. No binding. About Fine. [Los Angeles]: Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, [1944]. Vintage original 10 x 13" (25 x 32 cm.) black-and-white double weight glossy silver gelatin photo. Typed blurb on verso and ink photo number. Slight crease at top right corner, about fine. Showgirl Kay Williams, farm girl from Erie, PA, would dress a number of major Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer musicals, later become Kay Spreckles and then marry Clark Gable during the last few years of his life. In 1944, Irene dressed her in a see-through negligee for a pin-up to inspire service men. She was appearing in the Joe Pasternak-produced Two Girls and a Sailor. The epitome of pin-up photography.
