Dust jacket is wrapped in a mylar covering, price is uncut "2 Volumes $5.00", has mild shelving wear, small open tears along the fore corners and spine head and tail edges, stains on the rear cover, and moderate age-toning throughout. Boards have mild bending wear along the fore corners and spines head and tail edges, fraying along the spine of Volume 1, and small stains throughout. Textblock of Volume 1 has the second free end-page mostly loose, splitting to gutter from pages 6-72 and 233-296, illustrated end-pages and pastedowns, mild wear along the edges, and moderate age-toning along the edges. Textblock of Volume 2 has splitting to gutter from page 88-218, indents on the front end-page, illustrated end-pages and pastedowns, mild wear along the edges, and moderate age-toning along the edges.
