SIGNED and inscribed to the photo page by the author (inscribed to a previous owner whose signature is found on the half title page. A remarkably well preserved copy of this classic WWII memoir, uncommon in this condition. This copy is in near fine condition with only light rubbing to the board edges and the aforementioned PO signature, else fine; Housed in a crisp and clean near fine dust jacket that shows mild rubbing and creasing to the jacket edges and panels, and a few faint scratches to the back panel.
