Previous owner's bookplate (Arthur Lanyon Blair) on the front pastedown. Top fore-edge corners of the pages gently bumped. In the dust jacket, with areas of trivial soiling, and a shallow closed tear to the bottom edge of the front panel. The photographer's portrait of the America in the thirties, first published in 1938. (Inventory #: 67677)
