Chicago, IL, 1897. 6 ½” x 4 ½” black leather w/ gold type on cover. Cover in poor condition with leather of spine loose, coming off of front cover, and gone from back cover. Pages of interior are excellent. Charter, membership, and bylaws of organization named for the peace pipe pictured on front cover and inside, with multiple chapters throughout North America.~~Members of the Southside social club organized in 1878 enjoyed the grand surroundings of the 4-story building at the corner of Michigan Avenue and Twentieth Street. The club was destroyed by a fire in 1893 and rebuilt around the publication of this volume. The Chicago Calumet Club disbanded in 1915.~. (Inventory #: 298633)
