Damp staining to top and bottom edges of textblock with associated staining to contents at margins. Hinges tender with front and rear free endpapers lacking. Small closed tear to title page at bottom edge with toning to contents. Initially self-published by the author with a small print run of 3,000 copies, this classic has gone on to become the most published cookbook in America.
