Privately printed in an edition of 100 numbered copies. This copy has been rebound in a full leather artist's binding by M. Minter (binding ticket on rear pastedown dated 1984) while also housing the original suede leather decorative covers. A beautiful book, and an excellent specimen of the American Arts & Crafts movement.
Printed by Will H. Ransom. Title within hand colored border; hand colored initials, text in cursive type. Will H. Ransom, America's greatest authority on private presses and their output, was a distinguished artist and typographer. His books and articles were the standard reference on the subject and still are to this day.
