Heavily aged white spine with black and red lettering. Dust jacket is wrapped in a mylar covering, price is uncut "$5.00", has mild shelving wear, open tears along the tail edges, small closed tears along the head edges, bending wear along the head fore corners, stains throughout, and moderate age-toning throughout. Boards have stains on the quarter-bound black cloth, light bumping along the fore corners and edges, mild wear along the head and tail edges, and mild age-toning along the head and tail edges. Textblock has light soiling on some pages, pen writing on the front end-page, mild wear along the edges, stains on the head and tail edges, and moderate age-toning along the head and tail edges. Shelved Room C. This is a first and a half-state dust jacket, notably having "Second Printing" on the front flap, but otherwise remaining exactly like a first issue dust jacket missing the "Complete and Unabridged" of later issue dust jackets.
