An immediate declaration of war against Germany

Westport, CT: Associated Leagues for a Declared War, 1941. Large-format, four-panel brochure, 11x17 inches, fold-creased. Includes reprints of three full-page ads from Westport newspapers. Describes the local efforts of Kenneth Littauer to press the US to explicitly declare war against Nazi Germany. The reprinted ads demonstrate the increasing reach of his efforts, as more and more people added their names as supporters. With this proclamation, the Westport group sought to establish relations with other organizations around the country calling for a war declaration. (Inventory #: 332094)
