Also with six photogravures from Harrer's original negatives, and a map laid into the front of the volume illustrating Harrer’s journey. With publisher's prospectus.
Strikingly bound by hand in natural Buré silk imported from India . Front cover stamped in blind. Volume is wrapped in a burgundy and orange cotton cloth and set between magnolia wood panels, the front panel hand-carved with Tibetan good-luck charms, and secured with two black ribbons. Fine.
