Included are two typescript treatments written by author/publisher George Locke, as part of the preparation for his 1976 book, "The Year of the Sex Olympics and Other TV Plays." The first is a ribbon copy typescript, with profuse annotations in red ink made by a professional proofreader, and the second is a clean carbon typescript treatment. The two treatments were transcribed by editor and publisher George Locke for the text of his aforementioned book.
While doing research for a new recording medium, a team of engineers accidentally find themselves communicating with a ghost trapped in the walls of a decaying Victorian house. Originally aired on December 25, 1972, on BBC.
Noted British screenwriter Nigel Kneale is today best remembered for his work in television, particularly for the successful science fiction "Quatermass" series. He was twice nominated for the BAFTA Award for Best British Screenplay, and also penned several collections of short stories, one of which won the Somerset Maugham Award in 1950.
