SIGNED by the author to the 2nd free paper with provenance for the signing laid in (bookmark from the Kroch's & Brentano's First Editions Circle). A handsome copy of this novel by the prolific and popular author, his signed material getting more scarce by the day. This copy is in very good condition that shows some rubbing to the spine ends and corners, some light soiling to the boards, and some faint spotting to the exterior text block. Housed in a crisp and bright very good dust jacket that shows mild rubbing and chipping to the ends, edges, and corners, and one short closed tear to the bottom of the rear panel.
