[Modena]: Artioli Editore, 2005. First Edition. Signed presentation from Casagrande Mayor Adres Rossi on a front blank page: “Casalgrande, January 11th, 2012. I am very pleased to address my special thanks to all of you on the occasion of my visit to Asbury Park. Kindest regards, Adres Rossi, Mayor of Casagrande.” Casalgrande is a town in the Province of Reggio Emilia in the Italian region Emilia-Romagna, located near Bologna. From January 11 to 15, 2012, Casalgrande Mayor Andrea Rossi came to Asbury Park to promote a possible collaboration with the adopted town- home of Springsteen- and the Italian Emilian town, which is trying to activate a musical and cultural bridge across the ocean. The visit coincided with the well-known musical event Light of Day 2012, the traditional week dedicated to music and an event that frequently has Springsteen make appearances. Rossi met twice with then Asbury Park Mayor Ed Johnson in hopes of building a relationship between the two cities, with Springsteen scheduled to play at Casalgrande, with three dates in June. In all honesty, it seems like an Italian politician/avid Springsteen fan just making his move to get closer to The Boss. The large, 215-page illustrated book deals with Casalgrande and its surrounding area. Text in English & Italian. An interesting book!. Quarto; white boards in dust jacket; 215 pages. Photographs by Ghigo Roli.. Fine in like d/j.
