An octavo measuring 8 1/8 by 5 1/4 inches with a prior owner's book plate on the verso of the first free end page. 1,675 pages of text (818 + 857). Illustrated with drawings by Fritz Eichenberg with the translation from the Russian by Louise and Aylmer Maude and with revisions and special introduction by Mr. and Mrs. Maude.
