Harrisburg, Pennsylvania: The Military Service Publishing Co, 1941. Very good. Light dust soiling and some damage to envelope. maps and protractors in very good to near-fine condition. Pencil annotations to back of one protractor. A couple short tears to larger map.. An educational set of protractors and a large map published "for use with R.O.T.C. Manuals for The Military Service Publishing Company". The Company, most active in the 1930s and 1940s, published textbooks and educational materials for R.O.T.C. programs and the military, and is best known for its fiction paperbacks small enough to fit into military uniform pockets during WWII. This set appears complete but is not accompanied by the manual it was published for. It is comprised of two (2) paper protractors, one large map ("Special Map A") and one smaller anaglyphic map "Showing a Portion of the Carlisle Quadrangle". Large map measures approx. 34" by 30.5", small map measures approx. 9.25" by 12.25", protractors are each approx. 8.7" in length, and printed mailing envelope measures approx. 6.5" by 9.5
