England, 1870. Very good. Light dust soiling.. A very charming greeting card made from embossed card and two embossed, chromolithographed scraps. The upper scrap depicts Little Red Riding Hood holding a bouquet of wildflowers with the wolf at her feet. When this die-cut scrap is lifted up, the message below is revealed: "A Happy New Year to Ye". This card is notable for how well the two scraps blend together, making it less obvious the secret message underneath. Measures approx. 3.75" by 2.5", verso blank. (Inventory #: 7043032)
