Includes transcripts of the various addresses delivered at the dedication of the Monument; illustrated with halftones of the monument and principal figures. Most notably, this work contains the first published appearance of the Diary of Capt. Daniel Lewis Cushing, commanding officer of the Grand Battery at Ft. Meigs during the siege of 1813, which would not be republished again until 1944. Quite uncommon; not seen in commerce, with OCLC nothing about a dozen physical locations as of 2025.
