Some sunning to the green cloth, else fine in about very good dustwrapper, sunned at the spine with a few small chips and tears, and scuffed near the foot. Inscribed by the author to his Aunt: "For Dear Old Bethel, the best little chaperone a father ever had. From her nephew, Beezie! Tiffany Thayer. 6/21/35." Novel by the idiosyncratic author featuring a beautiful librarian, the "cluck" of the title, who goes abroad, finds romance and adventure, and wises up. Jacket art appears to be unsigned but may be by Boris Artzybasseff.
