Np. No binding. Just About Fine. Np, [ca. 1963]. Vintage original 8 x 10" (20 x 25 cm) black-and-white photo, photo agency sticker on verso, just about fine. CORE (Congress of Racial Equality) was a major civil rights organization, and it was deeply involved in the early-1960s in the Freedom Rides and the sit-in movement. This photo documents a CORE march held on a college campus. Some marchers are seen carrying signs like "ARREST WALLACE" which most likely refers to Alabama Governor George Wallace's 1963 effort to refuse admission of Black students to the University of Alabama.
