Np. No binding. Fine. [Paris: Np, 1955]. Set of 8 vintage original borderless black-and-white French photos, approximately 5 x 7" (13 x 18 cm). Photo agency stickers on verso, overall fine. Agnès Varda's first feature film, which has been regularly cited by many critics as a forerunner of the French New Wave, with the film historian Georges Sadoul calling it "truly the first film of the nouvelle vague". The film was shot and takes place in Sète in the south of France, "La Pointe Courte" ("short point") being a tiny quarter of the town known as the fisherman's village. (Wikipedia)
