Third edition, revised. Handsome copy of Tani’s guide to Rome which opens with a history of Rome and list of local historic palazzo’s and museums. The tour begins at the Capitol, and moves on to the Forum, the Palatine, and then on to the Vatican. The guidebook offers interesting notes and in some case inside information, provided by the local author whose understanding of Rome is well documented in this text.
