17th Century Manuscript Qur'an Leaf from India

India, [17th Century]. Unbound. Good. Indian Manuscript Qur'an leaf. Small octavo sheet measuring approximately 4¾" x 7¾". Calligraphy in red and black with gold accents in Naskh script both recto and verso. Tipped-in to (a bit crookedly, but easily removable from) a custom hinged mat using archival tissue paper. Good only with staining and extensive archival repair (much of it affecting only the outer ruled margin), including some areas of insect loss. A handsome leaf nevertheless. (N.B.
