Constitution and governing orders for the Sociedad Patriotica de Obreras Mexicanas, a mutual aid society for women. The aim of the group was to provide aid in cases of an inability to work, illness, imprisonment, poverty, decrepitude or death. It strove to be a progressive, philanthropic, humanitarian society, whose members lived as sisters -- politics was not to be discussed. Funds would come from weekly dues and donations. The text notes that all ladies and girls who have an honest way of living, good morals, and who live by their physical work and are not of dubious conduct are to be admitted.
