After being introduced by a friend who was married into the tribe, George, with an interpreter, was able to lern of their life and history. He discusses their old time ways, village life, social organization, woman and her place, child naming, raising, and training, games and amusement, tribal government and much more. A very good set bound in maroon cloth, spines lettered in gilt, light wear to corners and spine ends, small stain to upper edge of board on volume I. No names, bookplates or foxing, faint, thin dampstain to outer edge of volume I.
