Six stories by one of the masters of pulpish paranoia: "After-Dinner Story"; "The Night Reveals"; "An Apple a Day"; "Marihuana"; "Rear Window" (basis for the 1954 Alfred Hitchcock film); and "Murder-Story." The hardcover edition, with identical content, was published by J.B. Lippincott in 1944.
