One of 235 copies (of a total edition of 250) bound in mustard-yellow Welsh sheepskin with title, set in a pattern of rules, blocked in gilt on the upper cover, and with gilt spine titling. Moderate browning, rubbing and wear to the spine, including some crazing. Additional wear to boards due to "skinning" and rubbing from handling and shelfwear; protected in custom-fitted archival Mylar. Printed in Bembo type on Portal's hand-made paper. Contains 8 wood engravings by Agnes Miller Parker. Text edited by Dora E. Yates. Compositor: Idris Jones; Pressman: Herbert John Hodgson; Completed June 12, 1933. BIBLIOGRAPHY: Harrop 27. Hand-numbered 211 on colophon. Minor browning to endpapers due to offsetting from the binding leather. The occasional spot of foxing, inherent in the paper manufacture.
