OCLC locates only two copies, one at AAS and the other at Winterthur. A third title at Harvard has a pink paper wrapper. A six-part, rhyming, epic poem, beautifully illustrated with chromolithographed plates, tells the story of Master Mousie’s supper party, his family, and what happened at the supper party. Part VI is titled “How Mousie-Powsie, Seeing All His Guests Around Him, Became Somewhat Boastful, and How His Bragging Was Taken Out of Him—Which is Also the Moral of This Story.”
