[JUVENILE] [RHYMING VERSE] [ILLUSTRATED]. 32mo (4 ½” x 6 7/8”); [8]pp; glazed linen wrapper, color pictorial front with title; 2 staple binding; verse and line drawings printed in sepia, 2 bright chromolithographed pictorials at the center fold; light hand wear; near fine. OCLC locates 5 copies, including AAS. The front wrapper features a lively pictorial of a mother holding a large switch aloft and trying to gather 10 children into a large shoe. Seven short rhymes are included, only five are titled: “There was an Old Woman,” “I had a Little Hen,” “See, saw, Margery Daw,” “Tom Thumb,” “The Baby Bear.” And, two without titles, “Bye, baby bunting,” and "Little Polly Flinders sat among the cinders.”
